About the Artist
Frances' experience covers a lifelong studyof fine art. She has exhibited in shows and galleries throughout the Northern California area, winning several prizes for her work.
She has a degree in fine art and a minor in graphic art form San Jose University. She has further studied landscape with Jose Maas, including the early influence of the "Spanish School" of painting, and also studied with Able Warshawsky, of Carmel, in portrait, still life, and landscape, learning "French Impressionistic" style as well as realistic portrait and still life.
She is also an art teacher of beginning through advanced oil and acrylic painting and drawing. She teaches her students still life, landscape, portrait and ocean, in various mediums.
